Backing Belidor AI's $7.9M Series A to Build the Intelligence Layer for Water Operations

We are pleased to announce PACA Ventures' participation in Belidor AI's $7.9 million Series A, announced on February 4, 2026. The round was co-led by T Bridge Venture Partners and 49th Fund, with participation from PACA Ventures, Nexenai Capital, and A195 Capital.
Jerry Hanson founded Belidor AI to build AI-powered operational intelligence for water treatment facilities. The company addresses a problem found across utility and industrial plants: large volumes of useful information exist in SCADA systems, data historians, spreadsheets, manual logs, laboratory records, and plant documents, but those sources are often difficult to connect and act on consistently.
The platform brings those information streams into one operational environment. Agent Zed, Belidor AI's AI process engineer, can analyse plant performance, answer questions using facility-specific evidence, create charts, review uploaded data, and perform recurring monitoring or reporting jobs. The broader product suite includes digital twins and plant audits, dashboards, calculated metrics, alerts, tasks and procedures, and data integrations.
What attracted us is the combination of a technically ambitious product and a clear operational use case. Water treatment teams do not need another generic dashboard or AI assistant. They need systems that understand plant context, work with existing infrastructure, and help operators move from a signal to a decision. Belidor AI is designed as a read-only intelligence layer: it can work with control-system data without changing setpoints or sending commands into the plant.
This approach gives Belidor AI a broad market across wastewater, drinking water, industrial water, food and beverage, desalination, and water reuse. It also aligns with PACA Ventures' focus on AI-native software, automation, data-driven infrastructure, and technical teams building products with long-term strategic value.
The Series A gives Belidor AI additional capacity to deepen its technology, support more complex implementations, and expand the availability of AI-powered decision support across the water sector. We look forward to supporting the team in its next stage of product and commercial growth.
